Well, you learn something new every day. Today I learned both bolsters at once wasn't such a good idea. There was so much material being flung into the flask it blew out the middle and back splashed onto the outside. Oh well, time to carve more wax 🤷‍♂️

Finally back on my friend's Irish Dirk. One wax model done for the bolster. I'll finish the final shaping and polishing once it's cast in brass and fixed to the cherry wood handles and blade. This side is my touch mark, the other will have her family crest she designed.
