Sweet job Grady!
1st PLACE WINNER AT THE YAKIMA REGIONAL RACE! 🏁
What an amazing weekend at the 509 Quarter Midget Association Regional Race. 153 cars from Canada and across the western United States gathered to compete in our first Region Race 2026 @ 509 QMA of the season.
Grady grew so much as a driver this weekend. He was challenged with a new track that pushed him outside his comfort zone and helped expand his experience on a flat track. As a seasoned banked-track driver, this was a great opportunity to gain versatility and continue developing his skills.
In Jr Honda, Grady finished 7th place. It was valuable seat time and gave us plenty of learning moments to talk through, helping set him up for success going into the Jr Animal and Jr 160 races.
Grady proved his talent by taking 1st place in Jr Animal! He applied everything he learned in the Honda race and ran with it. We couldn’t be more proud.
Jr 160 is still a newer class for Grady, and heading into the regional race it was only his 4th time behind the wheel of a car with a different speed and reaction time. He gave it everything he had and finished 2nd place in his regional race. The ending of this race was an exciting one! It was definitely a days of thunder movie moment!
We are so proud of Grady’s hard work, determination, and growth this weekend. The future is bright!
