🥵 HAPPY WEDNESDAY! 🥵

Y'all... it's so hot outside...

🔥 The asphalt is giving off life advice.
🔥 The birds are flying with oven mitts.
🔥 Even the mosquitoes are calling it quits until sunset.

At this point, if you stand still too long, somebody might mistake you for a rotisserie chicken. 🍗😂

Which is exactly why you should come spend some time inside a thrift store instead of wandering around a giant parking lot wondering why your flip-flops are melting.

And remember...

Every day someone says,
"I'll come back tomorrow if it's still there."

Bless their optimistic little heart. 😏

Around here, that's usually translated to:
"Congratulations to the person who bought it 12 minutes after I left."

That's the thrill of thrifting!

You don't beat the heat by sitting at home scrolling Facebook hoping we'll post every cool thing that comes in.

You beat the heat by showing up... hunting for treasures... and finding something you didn't know you needed until it was in your shopping cart.

🔥 SATURDAY... THE HEAT IS ON! 🔥

And no... we're not just talking about the weather. 🥵

We're talking about the race to see who gets that item they absolutely didn't need... but suddenly can't live without. 😂

That's the beauty of thrifting...

You walk in looking for a picture frame...
..and somehow leave with a cast iron skillet, a lamp, three shirts, a coffee mug with a chicken on it, and a grill you definitely weren't planning to buy.

Makes perfect sense to us. 🤷‍♀️

Meanwhile, someone else is standing in the aisle saying,
"I don't really need this..."
..right before another shopper grabs it and suddenly it's the greatest thing they've ever seen.

Funny how that works. 😏

Moral of the story:
If you think about it too long, someone else is probably already carrying it to the checkout.

The thrill of the hunt is real... and around here, hesitation is expensive.

🎙️ IT'S CONVERSATION FRIDAY AT THE FLIPP'N SOUTH! 😂

Let's be honest...

The two things serious thrifters love most are:

🛒 And the thrill of the hunt.

Now, we know we haven't posted much this week...

But don't confuse "we didn't post" with "we didn't have anything good." 🤣

Trust us... we did.

That beautiful stove? It sold about two seconds after it came off the truck.

That adorable playhouse? Some lucky little kid became its new owner within TWO hours.

That's just how it works around here.

While everyone else is standing in line paying full price, our customers are out here finding bargains and acting like they won the lottery. (Honestly... they kind of did.)

If you've been saying, "I've been meaning to stop by," consider this your sign. Because around here, "I'll come back later" usually translates to "I hope whoever bought it is very happy." 😏

Well... the 4th of July is here.

Some of y'all are already standing over a grill pretending you know what you're doing. Others are sweating through three shirts before noon. 🥵

Meanwhile, the people who ignored all those "there's never anything good at thrift stores" comments have been walking out with some pretty amazing finds. Funny how that works. 😂
