Every piece of furniture, jewelry, or art that you or your family owns has a unique story behind it. That is how Telico Treasures began with Rob’s, our owner, mother collecting family heirlooms and telling the history behind each piece. When you step into our emporium of vintage homeware, jewelry, and more, it’ll feel as though you have stepped back into time along the bluebonnet trail. With our family’s roots buried deep in the Great Depression, we’re committed to repurposing as many items as possible so others can create new stories with them.

Occasionally folks visiting Telico Treasures ask how it came about, the antique store on a ranch way out in the country. Thought it would be fun to post how Telico Treasures started. The concept was developed by my mother, Cornelia Mae Chancellor Spencer, in 2012 due to the intense street traffic during the Blue Bonnet trail that runs in front of our ranch. Later she coined the name Telico Treasures. The building was constructed several years later to expand the ranch shop and serve as Rob’s main cave.
We started with internet sales model working with simple sales in the building during the Blue Bonnet trails. Eventually we focused on in-store sales and development of that concept. In 2023 we decided to open every Saturday 10 to 5 throughout the year. With the help of our friends, customers and our new customers we were able to grow the business and fill the store with fun antiques and vintage hardware. Check out the post pictures to see how Telico Treasures has grown😊

Decorating trends can bring the excitement of understanding your interior look that has been so difficult to achieve. Recently I became aware of the design trend of CHATEAUCORE. House & Garden describes this trend as the rural nostalgia that blends rustic charm with the timeless opulence of the ancient regime, resulting in a distinctive take on French country style. Interesting statement, but how do you work down to our world, reality and affordability?
House & Garden suggest assembling an interesting mix of antiques, a balance between chateau and country style. CHATEAUCORE–décor style can be used as a complete room décor or it can be used to enhance your existing décor. Blending in with other decor styles such as cottage or even more Texas decor style, like shabby chic décor. To achieve this new look one would mix into the current décor antique European furniture, paintings, lamps and accessories. Telico Treasures offers an assortment of furniture, artwork, and accessories from the old world. Stop by and check out the store to kick off the journey to your new décor.
