Hi everyone it's Cap'n Bo.
Hope your Holiday Seasons are going well. ☺️
It's bittersweet, but wanted to let all my followers and previous clients know that I have decided from my guiding services.
I feel very blessed to have been able to live out my lifelong dream of becoming a fishing guide.
I turn 67 next year and after 2 hip replacement and 1 knee replacement procedures.
My body and mind don't have enough left in the tank to do another year for the public. 😫
My fishing now will be with family and friends.
Thank you to all of my clients
that has given me the opportunity to take you fishing.
My hopes are that you enjoyed our trips as much as I have. It has been a great life experience, with many, many fond memories ❀️
Big Thank you to my 1st mates that helped me out through the years. Karen (my best), Dave Bair, Tom Zeble, Kory McKay and Nick Devine.
I'm posting a lot of pics that date back to 2016. I'm sure you will see some familiar faces.
We lost a couple of great fisherman/guys that are no longer on God's green earth.
R.I.P. Jamie & Dan πŸ₯Ή
Hope you enjoy the fish pics!
The smiles tell the story.

Fished with my fraternity brother and good friend Mark "Big Smitty"
and his lovely wife Jaye.
Headed back out to a near shore reef to target Sheepshead. The bite started slow but Jaye was able to put 3-4 fish in the box before Mark boated his first keeper.
We had to move a number of times where we would hit a few Sheepshead then repeat.
Our last spot proved to be the best as they put more fish in the box
Another great day on the water. Lots of laughs, and so much fun catching up.
Mark and Jaye are both very good fisherman. They also boated a few Spanish Mackerel that were released. The box total was 14 Sheepshead up to 17 inches, 3 keeper Mangrove Snapper, 2 Key West Grunts and a Black Drum.

Fished with Jason, Sarah, Mary and Troy.
Conditions were beautiful on a near shore reef.
The catching wasn't fast and furious but managed to catch a very nice box of Sheepshead.
Everyone caught their share of Sheepshead which totaled to 18 keepers with some exceptional fish up to 19 inches.
Sarah using one of my lightest set ups hooked into a nice Cobia. The fish went under the boat and around the trolling motor.
With help from the crew we were able to keep the Cobia on after taking the pole under the trolling motor. Sarah had the fish up to the boat when it took off again and broke the 20lb leader. The fish was very close to the 36 inch minimum length to the fork of the tail.
Very exciting, with a story about the one that got away.
Great day on the water with fun people. Ended up with 18 nice Sheepshead.
Dave did the first mate duty's which helps me out immensely.

Fished with a lifelong friend Russell along with his youngest son Tyler and nephews Collin and Billy
The day started kind of slow but after a couple of moves they began to start catching some nice Sheepshead. In between the Sheepshead they caught numerous short Red and Gag Grouper along with some Mangrove Snapper and Key West Grunts, Lane Snapper, Sand Perch and Lizard fish.
Dave helped me out doing first mate responsibilities.
Fun day between catching up along with some friendly banter among the fisherman.
We kept 11 nice Sheepshead. The largest was 19.5 inches hog. Also kept a couple of good size Key West Grunts.

Fished with Rich and Frank. Overcast day with light winds.
Headed to a near shore reef. Steady pick of Sheepshead. Lots of action between Red and Gag Grouper, Mangrove and Lane Snapper, Lizard fish and a beautiful Hogfish.
Great fun with these guys as they took turns giving each other the business.
Great day with 2 man limit of Sheepshead up to 18 inches.

Beginning of March.
Fished with Gary, Ron and Kevin.
Went back out to a near shore reef. I I was surprised with the lack of other boats. Conditions were good with a nice chop.
Gary, Ron and Kevin kind of picked away and ended up with a nice box of fish. We had to move a lot and never landed on a school of Sheepshead.
End up with 15 nice Sheepshead up to 18 inches. Also caught 3 keeper Mangrove Snapper, 4 Key West Grunts and a Black Drum.
Dave helped me out today as my first mate.
Great to have him aboard.
Fun day on the water with great guys! 😎

Leapyear fish with Jerry, Tom & Mike.
Hit a near shore reef.
Had to sort through some small fish in the beginning. But kept moving until we started to hit some really nice Sheepshead.
We had 3 that were pushing the 19 inch size.
The bite kind of came and went but ended up with 15 Sheepshead along with a 17 inch Black Drum and 1 Key West Grunt.
Beautiful day on the water. Waves were less than 1 foot.
I enjoyed the time with 3 great guys.

Ran off shore for the first time this year. The wind finally has backed off.
Fished with dear friends Dave and his oldest son Nick.
First spot we stopped we picked away at 10-12 inch Lane Snapper. The bite was steady. I was hoping to find some bigger Snapper.
We tried a number of different spots but never did find the bigger Snapper.
We caught lots of smaller
Lanes along with Blue Runners, Grunts.
Ended up with 28 back at the dock. Nice bag of tasty fillets. Fun day on the water. 😎

Fished by myself. Hoping to catch some Sheepshead.
Went out to a near shore
reef before building winds ran me back in shore. Decided to try my luck fishing some docks.
I was rewarded with a 1 man limit of 8 Sheepshead including a 21 inch beauty. Great day!
Sheepshead is one of our very favorite fish to eat.
