I think it’s being a very different July here in Englewood for all shops and restaurants. This is usually one of my favorite months when I do a lot of Resin Art classes for grandmothers and their grandchildren, but not this July, so far at least. I blame our hurricanes and all the damage to homes and business here. Good thoughts and prayers for all those still struggling with getting repairs completed. And if you’re in the area, stop by even just to say “Hi.”

Decorated 2 large pieces of driftwood yesterday. Like many businesses in Englewood right now I’m averaging 2 customers per day, so I have lots of time to clean, rearrange some inventory and create some unique pieces too.

Resin Art Classes are available for those age 5 and older. One of my favorite times of the year are classes filled with grandmothers and grandchildren. Class cost is $50 for adults and $45 for the little ones. Call Sheryl at (941) 830-0901 to reserve a class.

Hi everyone! I finally found a way to access Facebook as my iPad has a horrendous virus which has been extremly frustrating. So I (finally!) discovered that I can access this page and my personal one with my iPhone. I’ll post some new inventory in a couple of hours when I get to the shop this morning. It’s been months since I could go on my page, so I’m feeling relieved that we can interact here again

Resin Art classes are available Tuesdays through Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. or 12:45 p.m. if Linda is available to watch the front while I teach class. Classes last approximately an hour. Class cost is $45 and includes the frame and all the pretty “fillers” that make the ocean, etc. The handmade and hand painted turtles and dolphins and other sea animals range in cost from $2.99 and up. Feel free to bring your own small shells in a plastic sandwich sized bag, and I also offer free local tiny shells too. I teach resin art classes to people starting at age 5 and up. You will leave your artwork here overnight to dry, and can pick it up anytime the next day. I will wrap it well for those traveling back home. Call Sheryl at (941) 830-0901 to PreRegister and PrePay.
