We recently had a bit of a conversation with mastering engineer Dave McNair ( ), also of , and found out that he’s been using the Ultra Carbon TC-40 record weight by in his system—a very nice system, by the way. He also said to “definitely say that he uses it and endorses it.”

So there you go: Dave endorses it and uses it!

Installation, Day 1, of the Franc Audio Accessories “Bridge” Wood Block rack. This rack was custom engineered specifically to fit and be centered over a Chicago customer’s large Boulder amplifier while still providing excellent isolation for all of the other components in the system. The frame is finished in black and the shelves are all finished in matte black to highlight the equipment and create the perfect mechanical environment for a system dedicated to a lifetime of loving music.
