"Isn't it odd how much fatter a book gets when you've read it several times? As if something were left between the pages every time you read it. Feelings, thoughts, sounds, smells... and then, when you look at the book again many years later, you find yourself there, too. " ~ Cornelia Funke

What special books will you discover? From childhood favorites like The Monster at the End of this Book ("You turned the page!!!") 💙, to 84 Charing Cross Road (a true story told through letters between an American book collector and British bookseller) 📚, to Number the Stars by Lois Lowry (a WWII story that began my love of historical fiction!) 🌟

And speaking of historical fiction... we've partnered with History Through Fiction to spread the word about their virtual book festival! Completely free and hosted online Nov 14th, this event connects bookstores, book clubs, authors, and readers to new stories — stories that bring to life the history that surrounds us everyday 📖

"Think not of the books you've bought as a 'to be read' pile. Instead, think of your bookcase as a w**e cellar. You collect books to be read at the right time, the right place, and the right mood." ~ Luc van Donkersgoed

And we've already had a book worm week full of the best bookish times!

A mini book club shopping hour with our plaza neighbor Sips Coastline's Tea and Trope Society (and meeting local author Chelsea Whetsel!), a brand new line of beautifully illustrated cards for every occasion, new hidden treasures, handmade trinkets, and favorite authors that abound on every shelf ✨

Adopt-A-Bookstore-Ghosts are also back... just in time for spooky season 👻 and don't forget to visit our Book Worm apothecary for a potion for you bookshelf! 🐛
