I knew Mr Geiger told me to do something… now I remember. The store will be closed this weekend and will open for appointment on July 5th . Mr Geiger is visiting his fellow Geigers and hopefully picking a box of book goodies from the York Emporium. While Mr Archer dropped off some items for Phantasm Comics .

Modest but update on the book fair . The copy of Brass Cupcakes is signed . Beautiful gold medal(?) paperback
The Ace Double …cover shown is Ju**ie . Gorgeous copy in near perfect condition.
The film book on Lon Chaney junior is signed by the author …. Who I believe is a friend of the bookstore owner … Doyle’s Books in Fayetteville, Ny .
The bookstore Yesterday’s Muse is in Rochester and helps run the Fall…. Rochester book fair . Mr Geiger met the owner a few years ago and was very impressed with the store .

Yesterday Mr Geiger sent me out to the Cooperstown Antiquarian Book Fair ( unable to proceed to the Cooperstown Library sale .(🥵)
5 dollars to enter ..proceeds go to the Cooperstown foundation for excellence in education. Did pickup a book for a fellow dealer . At least one dealer brought a lot of baseball books and memorabilia. Which is like bringing coal to Newcastle.

Store had to close early ….still check us out on Advanced Book Exchange (ABE) …. And don’t forget the carousel and fine Italian dining .Tomorrow call ahead to see if we might be open because Monday the store is probably closed .

Speaking of horror ….? Checkout “ Creature Features “ YouTube channel . The store gets a nice shoutout during their showing of the Italian Horror classic “Lisa and the Devil .” If you don’t want the entire video … fast forward to around the 59 minute mark .. the tail end of the mail call segment. Now back to books .Mr Geiger is busy spring cleaning the back room .
