These are baby alpaca wool scarves and shawls from the high Andean region of Parabamba, Peru by masterweaver Daniel Sonquo.The dyes are wildcrafted plants, insects, and mushrooms from Daniel’s land.
The second picture is on a wildcrafting trip we got to take with Daniel, collecting plants for dyes.
Incredible craftsmanship, rich earthen colors, and a rich story to tell in the woven iconography.

Our in person vending has taken a shift to focusing on brimmed South American hats lately.
Wanted to share a little of the origin story about how this came to be.
Its been a natural and organic process- like everything in this small business!
Here we are newly married in 2018. This pic is snapped after, hands down, the hardest hike of my life, out of the Mapacho River Valley in the Andes after spending a week in retreat mode with the . The hike and the crazy mountain drive after deserve a story telling of their own (right, ? Aka my angel) but we will stick to the hats here.
We purchased these hats in the market in Pisac and wore them the whole time we were exploring the Sacred Valley.
This trip had primarily been focused on visiting the weavers of whos goods we carry to establish deeper connection to the craft and people. One of our best sellers are the sweet hand woven, natural dye hat bands we carry made by Hilaria and Phillipe, based out of Pisac. Years later, i had the idea- well if we carry these hat bands we need to have hats available to sell along with them. And of course i want to carry the hats we personally love, so we tracked down the company who makes these hats, based out of Ecuador. (One of the only imported items for sale in the Pisac market). And selling these hats at music festivals and art shows, we found out that hats sell well in person! Its something you have to try on before you buy, right? So anyway now we have been focusing on hats and hat decor in person and ive been adding my own touch in hand embroidery to them as well. So thats the evolution of how and why we have become mainly a hat vendor in person this year. But you can still find a selection of our lovely cacaos and other peruvian textiles in person. Its been fun and we are doing more in person events than ever before with this biz as a family of 4 now. You can also catch us slinging smoothies on the road with my husbands biz .. what can i say? We love to create and travel

Yessss✨

Flying so high after offering this service this morning, combining two of my favorite things into one experience.

As many , , and know, the path is not always so clear cut. Your guides are intuition and passion with trial and error being well acquainted pit stops. and are the friends that hop along on the ride that remind you why you are on this trip in the first place.

I learned shamanic dream interpretation in the Andes mountains and tea service nestled in the trees in Northern California. I have been working actively with the dream interpretation with an organization I believe in assisting clients over the phone and internet for the last year and a half. As life would have it, I now am working out of an office space for the first time offering my services in person- something I have been envisioning! To be in the flesh and blood with people sharing these beautiful tools that have been bestowed upon me along the way is a dream come true. It is so rewarding to see the faith in the process bearing fruit. I am happy.

This is a documentary about the healing work of the Paititi Institute. I went on a healing retreat for myself down in Peru 1.5 years ago with this institute and it changed my life as is continuing to change my life as my involvement with them goes deeper and deeper and my healing continues.

I am so excited to be collaborating with a couple of dear friends for an awesome New Moon event at Indigo Dragon on March 27. Join us as we come together as a community to celebrate the cyclical nature of life in ceremony.

We bring together the ancient ritual of cacao ceremony along with breathwork, movement, and live soundscape to explore deeply and intimately our connection to the Mother and ourselves. We honor the changing of the season into Spring, the fresh receptive nature of the new moon, and ourselves as we relate to our divine connection as universal life force.

Cacao is a plant teacher that has been used for thousands of years by ancient Aztecs and Mayan cultures. It will aide us in deepening the journey of breath, sound and movement, on a physiological level by releasing neurotransmitters and increasing blood flow to our brains and on a spiritual level, by facilitating deeper energetic and emotional releases and connection to the heart space.

We give thanks for the opportunity to come together and recognize the importance of celebrating and honoring the shifts in life and nature and offer our hearts, creativity, and reverence to the great, beautiful mystery.
