It's about that time again folks! 📖
We have a Little Free Library in our seating area that has become a bit sparse with time. We love to give back to our community in this way, providing free literature for anyone of all ages. So, if anyone has any books of any kind (excluding explicit materials) that you would like to donate, we are always looking for more! You can stop by anytime during our operating hours and we would be glad to take them! We are open 6 days a week, 7:00-7:00, closed Wednesday.

But what is a Macchiato? 🤔🔍
A Macchiato is very simple, but is often mistaken for another drink entirely! Macchiatos are made by pulling a shot or two of espresso, and scooping a few spoonfuls of foamed milk over the top. The foam rests on top of the espresso, dripping down slowly as can be seen in this image. Macchiatos are preferred by those who love the flavor of espresso, but want a touch of milk to soften the intensity.
🔍Remember when we said it's often mistaken for another drink? Many hear the word "macchiato" and immediately think of Starbucks' macchiato. Starbucks' caramel macchiato is actually very similar to a caramel latte; the main difference being that the espresso is poured over the top of everything, instead of being stirred together.

Fun fact! "Chai" is actually the Hindi word for "tea"! Chai is made by steeping black tea with aromatic spices; usually clove, cinnamon, and cardamom. This results in a flavorful and unique tea. Many adore a chai that has a strong flavor, while others may enjoy theirs on the more mild side. Here at Sweets n Such, we use an artisan concentrate that combines chai, honey, and vanilla to help us create a cozy and delightful chai latte. Our chai latte lands right in the middle between mild and strong, so we hope most chai lovers will enjoy it! Served hot🔥 or iced🧊

🕒 Sweets n Such Coffee is open from 7:00-6:00, Thurs-Mon.

In case you missed the big news 📢🎉 We are finally bringing in baked goods! We now have a wide variety of cookies and sweet breads to offer, as well as cinnamon rolls and brownies! We are also adding another day to our week, and expanding our coffee shop hours. Our new hours will be Thurs-Mon, 7:00-6:00. So excited to be back in season 🥳

We are excited to announce some big updates to our hours and offerings. Starting this week, we’re giving you more days, more hours, and more treats!

Here’s the scoop:

📅 More Days to Visit: We are adding an extra day to our schedule! We will now be open Thursday through Monday.

⏰ Sleep In, Shop Late: Our new store hours are 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

⚡️ Night Owl Caffeine Fix: Our coffee bar is staying open later! Your favorite drinks will be available from 7 AM until store closing at 6 PM.

🍪 Treats on the Go: We are introducing some new commercially prepared, individually wrapped treats that pair perfectly with our coffee (and tea)!

Today is Saturday, which means we're bringing special attention to something from our store!
Today's shoutout is the Northern Lights Latte 🍯🪻
Known for it's bold flavor, this espresso drink is made with honey and lavender, creating a cozy flavor combo like no other! This drink was named after a local phenomenon that can be observed right here in Emily during the cold months, and reminds us of a warm night by the fire at the cabin. Don't knock it till you try it! Available year round at Sweets N Such Coffee, open Thurs-Sun, 7:00-3:00
