We love and appreciate all of our Peeps!! We are blessed with so many wonderful followers and customers who have been with us since we started in 2017 and who have joined us along the way.
For those of you who are new to The Coop, we just wanted to take a moment to share what we're about.
We are a husband and wife team who decided to turn our love for crafting, building, antiquing and spending time together into a little store called, The Coop. We have changed things along the way as we've learned what works and what doesn't but we are still mainly open seasonally. We make the majority of our 'treasures' and it takes months to plan, make patterns, cut things out, paint, sew, inventory, tag, stage, ETC to be able to open for a season. The time and hours are countless and we are only 2 people.
As we near a season, I post days/hours we'll be open then start sharing 'sneak peek' photos. We always love the feedback and the interest in what we've made but I do not sell any item before opening for the season. We have limited stock and some 'only' pieces. Some customers will arrive early and stand in line for a particular item so for that reason I do not hold or sell an item before hand.
In the past we have only been open for a couple weekends in the Fall and again during the Holidays. As we've settled into our new location this year tho, we were open this Spring and are adding several more days this Fall/Holiday season, giving you more opportunities to come out and shop The Coop. We work really hard creating and curating pieces to always make it worth your drive! :)
If you have any questions, please feel free to message me on our Coop fb page or TEXT. I will not answer 'unknown' or unfamiliar numbers, sorry, but will answer your messages. :)
Our only advertising is on our Coop fb page so ALWAYS check there first for days, times and important info (weather/roads, etc) and it's always helpful to scroll back as I make several posts leading up to opening. Directions have been previously posted several times as well and I will post them again but I remind everyone, don't trust your GPS...you'll likely end up down a trail road!
A couple other important tidbits, we take CASH or CHECK ONLY. As often as I post this, it still comes as a surprise to our new guests so I always say come prepared. :) We also have no public restroom, a bummer for sure, sorry.
Our store is FULL of so many handmade treasures from door hangers, signs, floral arrangements, pillows, crocheted kitchen items, aprons, fun beaded charms, baby items, furniture pieces (when hubby has time!), and SO much more, along with hand selected retail items such as table runners, tea towels, etc and carefully picked treasures from our antiquing trips. Along with some amazing, talented area vendors who add delicious candles and handmade baby quilts/blankets, gnomes and other fun items we are definitely your one stop shop for fun, unique, one of a kind treasures and gifts!!!
If you're still reading, lol, THANK YOU!! We are so incredibly blessed to be able to do what we love, together, and bring it to so many amazing people. Seeing you come to The Coop and enjoy what we've put together is what it's all about!
So, mark your calendar, call your roadtrip buddy and plan to come out!! Opening soon in September! Keep watching!
