***ANNOUNCEMENT***

Nestled within the walls of The Wretched Raven, a new kind of sanctuary is taking root. It’s one for the curious, the enchanted, and the ever-defiant. We’re thrilled to unveil The Noctua Nook, opening early this summer: a shadowy little book nook devoted to the magical, the mythical, and the mildly rebellious.

At The Noctua Nook, we deal in compilations that refuse to behave. Our shelves will contain:

Romantasy – Fall in love, cry in the haunted woods, break the curse.
Sci-fi & speculative fiction – For those who wonder what if…
Mythology – Because the Gods misbehave and mortals don’t listen.
History– The kind that whispers to you. The kind that lingers.
Banned books – The dangerous, the defiant, the necessary.

But the magic doesn’t stop there because The Noctua Nook is going mobile. We’re retrofitting a cargo trailer into a roving book-haven, bringing myths, powerful words, and escapism to markets, festivals, and odd corners of the map. If you've ever dreamed of stumbling upon a tiny bookshop in the middle of nowhere, you're not alone.

Come summer, the nook opens its wings.

I often use the space at my shop for writing and research. I wanted to create a space for myself and a friend to have space for different things that include genealogical meetup and research evenings, bookclub/writing and editing meetings, small history related and other classes, and much more. I gathered elements personal to me and imagined a space, then created it. Here's my special room. Come visit for tea and a gathering.

UFO Days is the last weekend of July. There will be a lot of events in town, and we will be open Friday and Saturday. Lotus Moon Alchemy Co. will be there, doing tarot and astrology readings from 12-6pm on Friday and Saturday. Our shop will have giveaways and raffles throughout the day (flyers with entry forms being handed out at TC Pride at our booth #163 and to be posted on our website following this weekend event).

New astrology journals have all arrived. They are colored for earth, air and water elements. The front has a picture of the sign, and short description. The back has the sign symbol, sign constellation, motto, element type and date for each sign.
