Harbor Farm Wreaths

Harbor Farm Wreaths We've been making fresh balsam wreaths by hand since 1986. All decorations are collected in our woods in Downeast Maine.

Harbor Farm is run by Mandi and Michael Leman. We are passionate about keeping the tradition of creating the finest fresh wreaths in Maine. Unlike many other of the larger wreath makers in Maine, we don't use machines to decorate our wreaths. The pine cones, chestnuts, reindeer moss are collected locally in the woods of Maine and all decorations are prepared and secured by hand by the local reside

nts of Downeast Maine. Only the tips of the evergreen branches are used on our wreaths and centerpieces, and this process of harvesting foliage is known as "tipping". This practice is beneficial to the tree, resulting in fuller and more vigorous growth.

Every first Saturday of each month is National Play Outside Day! Our family has been a "play outside" family for generations, and our now-grown child, Clover, has also grown up with a deep appreciation of the outdoors. Research shows that playing outside can reduce stress and improve overall well-being, so get back to your roots and go climb a tree, dig in your garden, or go on a paddle; if you're able to, no matter what you choose to do, just get outside and enjoy that spring sunshine! 🌞

If you've ever been to Maine you know that up here...it's DARK dark. 🌚
Fortunately, that means we can see the stars twinkling brightly in the sky from pretty much anywhere in the state when it's clear out! 🌌Sometimes we can even see the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights!
Here's a few photos we've snapped of the Maine night Sky over the years. Next time you're outside, take a moment to look up and marvel at the stars above! 👀💫

Schoodic Point on The Schoodic Peninsula is an enchanting spot located on the Winter Harbor side of Acadia National Park. It boasts rocky cliffs and tide pools rich with crabs and urchins, kelp washing against granite shores, and evergreens dotting the edges. Despite being a ways away from the more heavily visited areas of Acadia (46.8 miles from Bar Harbor by car), this area is a part of the park, so make sure to plan ahead and obtain a park pass before heading there!
