We have just purchased the 2025 Strat-O-Matic Baseball Board Game and are looking to form a league and get started ASAP! Draft night and Game nights to be held at our downtown Ellsworth location.
What is strat-o-matic baseball? Strat-O-Matic Baseball is a highly realistic tabletop simulation game. Founded in 1961, it utilizes actual Major League Baseball player statistics and dice or random number generators to simulate games. Players act as managers, building lineups, setting pitching rotations, and making split-second tactical decisions. Think of it as Pokemon or Magic the Gathering, for sports nuts!
I grew up playing this game with all the neighborhood kids and it is an absolute blast.
We are looking for 20 players (teams). Teams will be split up into 4 divisions. All games will be tracked using game changer! This will allow you to easily see performance and even watch other games in real time.
We will meet and draft teams once all teams are full and then we will kick off a 50 game season to get us started.
Prizes for highest batting avg, most HR, most RBI, lowest ERA, most wins, most strikeouts, worst record, division winners & world series champ!
This is a great opportunity to get out of the house 1 or 2 nights per week. Meet some new people that share your passion for baseball. Have some fun and maybe win a prize or two!
