I know the anniversary of this was in June, the 6th to be exact but better late than never.
This unique writing instrument pays homage to the brave men and women who participated in and in a lot of cases never came home from France. This nod to that history contains sand from each of the 5 beaches landed on during the D-Day invasion as well as a slice of walnut from the stock of an M-1 Garand rifle.
The three pictures of the pen show all angles of the artwork and the two photos of the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) shares some of the details of the invasion and a map of the area)

This one contains a small piece of wood taken from a beam that was removed from Independence Hall during a renovation in the 1970’s.

Been a while since I’ve added any pens so let’s change that.

This beauty boasts a hand wrapped thread in a diamond pattern bookended by two pieces of diamond chip infused resin on stainless steel hardware. How’s that for a mouthful?
The blank I used for the body was hand made by Oscar Fluitt. It took him 2.5 hours to craft it.
It uses a Parker Style insert for smooth writing.
