Not everyone spends Father’s Day celebrating.

For some, it’s a day of remembering the people who helped shape us—the fathers, grandfathers, father figures, and loved ones we wish we could spend one more day with.

I grew up thinking staying home meant slowing down.

In Bosnia during the war, most businesses shut down. My mom stayed home with us—not entirely by choice, but that’s what I remember. Home as the whole world. Present. Enough.

So when I became a mom, I expected motherhood to feel slower too…

Hey friends!!

I’ve been wanting to do this for a while and I’m finally just doing it — I’m starting a little newsletter series, and I wanted you guys to be the first to know.

Every other week (or close to it 😅) I’m going to share something real. Not just “here’s a candle, buy it.” More like… life lately. Motherhood. Building a business while trying to keep up with laundry and dinner and all the other things. Creating a home that feels calm even when life feels a little chaotic.

Because honestly? That’s the season I’m in too.

I’m definitely not an expert at most things , but I genuinely love learning. I love hearing how other women do life, business, motherhood, routines, relationships, and everything in between. So over time I might even bring in conversations with women in completely different seasons of life — business owners, self-employed women, moms, women trying to become moms, or women just figuring life out as they go too.

And of course… there will still be candle scents sprinkled in along the way .
