Educate, sell, and share pretty finds... After this morning's Holley Blue post on the Ellensburg blue agate page, it inspired me to create it. Was it a good idea? I will let you be the judge.

It is prudent to conduct due diligence prior to purchasing this rare gem, beware of the fakes.

ELLENSBURG BLUE BUYERS

If one is considering acquiring Ellensburg Blue, it is prudent to conduct due diligence before the purchase. These stones possess a purplish hue reminiscent of Holly Blue, but their distinction from the famed Ellensburg Blue cannot be overstated. It behooves one to educate oneself, as some purveyors may market rock collections as Ellensburg Blue to inflate their value. In contrast, others may be unaware of the actual nature of their wares and repeat hearsay. It is, therefore, imperative for buyers to exercise caution and carefully scrutinize the authenticity of their intended purchase.

The photo is not Ellensburg Blue. It is just a pretty banded agate if you have made it this far. I am tempted to make a page that is specifically Ellensburg Blue Knockoffs for sale to educate people and tag the not-so-true blue seller's posts for a place worthy of their blue, grey, yellow, or even purple agates.

We gave away a couple old saddles today, my wife posted them in hopes for someone to get some use out of them.

It was a local rockhound that showed up to our place for pickup that I had not seen in a few years. She came in and saw the collection and was floored...

She could not leave without picking up a couple pieces for her and her son, I left her with a Himalayan Green Chloride Crystal as a thank you and helped her out with the saddles.

What a boost when online sales are trickling in and someone shows up for free horse gear and helps support your small local business. So greatful. 💎💎💎
