It is with great disappointment that we will not be open this season. We've been there for you for the last 12 years and will continue to be there next year and for years to come. No one is more disappointed than us and can't help but feel we've let you all down but it was 1000% out of our control. In the Christmas Tree retail business the supply is short and the demand is high. We have to contact growers in Jan and Feb to get on the buy list for the next season. We've been with the same growers the entire time so we didn't have to search each year. Our order form was always mailed out to us in July and that's when we ordered. This July, rather than the expected order form, we received a 1 paragraph letter basically saying the were selling out, sold the entire tree inventory to another grower and good luck to us. Kind of a crappy way to do your loyal customers but oh well, its 2022 and to be expected. What this did was flood the limited supply of trees even thinner with 100 other tree lots on the phones looking for trees. I promise you we've spent from then until now searching the east coast for trees and no one has them. They told us too late in the game. Im sure that wasn't intentional to screw everyone but it would have been nice if all their loyal customers had of been told in time to secure more trees rather than shutting down hundreds of small business lots this season. Now for the good news....we have secured a new grower for 2023 and beyond and will be ordering trees this spring from them. We've actually secured 2 sources so this never happens to us again. We'll be back in 2023 and we are terribly sorry that we wont be part of your Christmas this year. Thank you ALL for your continued support and understanding. I wish I had a place to recommend for you to get a tree but unfortunately I don't. Just please try and avoid buying from the big box stores like Lowes and Wal-mart. Companies such as those are the reason demand is so high and prices are so high. Please try and support a local tree lot or farm. If you're looking for the freshness and premium quality that you always found on our lot then choose and cut is your only option. Again, sorry and disappointment is an understatement but it's our reality. Have a very Merry Christmas and please come see us in 2023!
