Rustic, Vintage, and Recycled. For a little background on my story, I was born and raised in Chicago, spending every moment of 28 years living and breathing everything the city has to offer. From playing volleyball on North Ave Beach to boating on Lake Michigan or growing up with Michael Jordan and the Bulls to catching a baseball game by my favorite team (Chicago White Sox), there was never been

a dull moment in this town for me and my family. In 2008 I was laid off from my job in the real estate market and in 2009 I met my beautiful wife to be. My next adventure actually turned into "OUR" next adventure. That took me and my then girlfriend to Detroit for my new job. There we lived in Royal Oak for 4 years before finally moving to Omaha so that we could be closer to my wife's family while we began starting a family of our own. With a little less time in the big city and the influence of a farmers daughter, I've found a new passion in creating artwork out of reused and reclaimed wood. Art has always been a passion of mine but only now have I turned to running my business online so that I can share my passion with others. I started by creating a replica of the Chicago flag made from recycled wood that I found on my brother in laws farm. From there, I've branched into making flags for other colleges and sports teams, farmhouse tables, coffee tables, 3D company logos, etc. that were requested by friends and family. I finally realized that I could share my creations on Etsy besides the normal word of mouth. And here I am today in 2021 with almost 330 commissioned pieces under my belt. If you have any ideas or suggestions on something you would like made then please let me know. I'd be happy to bring your thoughts to life if possible! Thanks for taking the time to read my story and I look forward to working with you!

Wow, it’s been forever since I last posted! The holidays were crazy once again with plenty of orders to keep me busy. And as always, I usually spend the first few months of the new year re-energizing 😁.

And one of my New Years resolutions is that I’m going to try and be more active on IG with posts of current and past works. (I have a ton of content in the vault)

So today we begin with a dining room redesign and a few custom builds for a special couple in Chicago (my brother and his wife).

And before I go any further, I need to give all the credit to my wife who designed this room. Over the next month or so I’ll start sharing more pics!

But for now I wanted to focus on the farmhouse table which I think turned out amazing 🔥🔥! I can’t remember the combination but my wife ended up creating this stain color with 2-3 layers of stain. (God bless her!)

Lastly, I have a few partnerships and collaborations with other local companies coming down the pipeline in 2021. One being in Chicago and the other in Omaha. So keep an eye out 👀

One down and NINE more to go before all my holiday orders are finished!! Almost there.... ...

My wife and I were so blessed to be given the opportunity to create this beautiful piece of art!! Our friends saw something similar in our own home (we’ve never shared a picture yet) and they wanted to know where we bought it. Lucky for them it was something my wife and I made!!

So we got down to planning and my wife came up with the design (3ft by 6ft, feathered cement background, framed border and 31 individually cut out letters (by me) that were them emphasized with a 3D underline). This baby was a labor of love for sure!!!

And to celebrate their new home, we came over on a Friday a few weeks ago to install the new piece, eat some pizza, drink a LOT of drinks, and watch our kids play together all night!! (We may or may not have drank before the install. Lol.)

Through what has been a crazy 2020 so far, this was an evening that left our hearts feeling full and grateful!! Thank you to and for letting us have a spot at their dining room table 😁❤️

Hey everyone! Been awhile since I last posted and I blame that all on my kids :)

A few weeks back I found myself in the shop staring at a bunch of extra material and a template for the state of Nebraska that I use for other projects. Hours and hours later, I now have two bad ass Charcuterie boards that are still looking for a new home. Early Christmas presents you want to knock off your list?? 😅

Anyone else think these would make great closing gifts for when someone buys a new house? Just sayin..

When it comes to custom projects where lettering is needed I almost always outsource it to my amazing wife . She knows how to use the Cricut machine and I honestly don’t think I have the patience. According to her this was the hardest sign she ever did!! Me...I just stain and assemble the frame...the easy part...sorry babe!

Thanks to great friends who allowed us to make this for Stellas nursery!

This is a commissioned piece that was very near and dear to my heart. 1. This is the first Illinois cutout I’ve ever done and it was huge - Four feet tall. 2. Chicago Illinois is where I was born and raised so that only magnifies the meaning. 3. This was made for my little cousin (who isn’t little anymore) as a guest book on their wedding day in Mexico. 4 My first piece that has needed a passport to travel out of the United States 😂 5. Family is everything - and these pictures bring back instant memories of being with them.

Kind of wild when you realize how many feelings and emotions can be brought to the surface by a piece of art that you create. That’s the beauty in this crazy world today.

The story of this piece is awesome! A client reached out through a Referal and said that his grandma loves to collect crosses whenever she travels. And her collection now resides on a gallery wall inside her home that make up crosses she’s bought herself and that she has received as gifts. Her grandson them said he’d like to have a custom piece made combining the flag of the United States and a Christian cross. Simple enough right??!! Except this was the first time I attempted the burning method and I’m a picky bastard :) But I’d have to say I was really proud of myself on this one 😉
