NICA season brings a special kind of energy to the Elkhorn and Omaha riding community. Whether your student rider is building confidence on local singletrack, training around Tranquility Park, or getting ready for bigger days at Platte River State Park, it’s all about skills, teammates, and time on the bike.

Bike Masters is proud to help families learn more about the Specialized NICA Team Sponsorship Program. Eligible student athletes can work through their teams to access 25% off MSRP on eligible Specialized bikes and 30% off MSRP on select trail- and XC-focused equipment. We get asked about e-bikes every day. Same three questions, every time:

"Is it cheating?" No. You still pedal.
"How far does it go?" 40-80+ miles per charge.
"Is it worth it?" If you ride more because of it - yes.

This weather, though.

Elkhorn has been outside all week and it finally feels like the real deal — not the fake spring that teases you in February and then dumps six inches of snow.

The shop is buzzing. Kids' bikes are rolling out the door. Riders are coming in for tune-ups after their bikes spent the winter gathering dust. Trail people are checking conditions. Road people are already logging miles.

If you haven't been in for a while, we've got some new stuff on the floor worth seeing. And if your bike needs some love after winter, just stop in or call — we'll get it dialed.
