Im sorry to have to post this, but I will not be at ribfest this week. Health issues have sidelined me again. Im feeling like a lab rat with all of the tests that the doctors are running on me.

So, I have a very unique piece here that I'm unsure of what to do with it. My first instinct is to just clean it up and put a shine on it for like a mantle piece or something.

I've been back in the shop this week and cleaned up these diamond willow sticks. Now time to give them a final sanding and a finish, which will of course be clear so the colors of the diamonds pops out.

I feel blessed to be able to grab these black cherry burls. They are a pain to remove the bark from them, but im sure it will be worth it once I'm able to get them cut. Unfortunately my bandsaw isn't big enough to resaw these into slabs. I'll have to be creative if I can't find someone that can help me.
