As a kid, each spring, my mom and I would search for Forsythia bushes in bloom as we drove around running errands together! It became a competition to see who could spot the most and we even came up with a song to go with it! We’ll find them if we can! We’re hunting for forsythia. As many as we can! Wooo!"
Many years later, forsythia are still one of my favorite flowers and I look forward to seei
ng them bloom each spring, signaling the end of winter. I still sometimes shout, "Forsythia!" and break out in song while driving around when I spot those bright yellow flowers. My husband may have thought I was a bit crazy the first time he heard me 😜
This fun tradition, as we waited for winter to end and spring to begin, has helped me to Find Beauty in All Seasons! My current season invloves giggles, tantrums, bedtime stories, dirty diapers, stuffed animals and so much more!
