Love collecting - you know I love books, but I collect signed everything, and the autographs of all four members for one of the greatest bands on one of the greatest albums would be around $15,000 and yes, from the collectors standpoint you want all the artists in one side so you can frame and display and you can’t have everyone touch this because of the oils on our hands and the ink from the pen - I cringed every time they touched it.... put it on eBay or run it on consignment - Pawnstars appearance will help him as well....

One of my favorite writers ever, Carlos Ruiz Zafon, passed away today - he wrote Shadow of the Wind, a book I recommended to everyone who would ever listen to me forever it seems and I always will - I actually have a tear in my eye as I write - in that book, where he coined my favorite place that I wished to go as I scramble to find a destination for nearly 100,000 books currently and trying decide if it is even worth it (so it must be a sign) THE CEMETERY OF FORGOTTEN BOOKS, he reinspired my love, and reinvigorated my challenge to get more people to find their passion within the pages, to get lost, when so many think they have found their happiness in finding fleeting moments that will not sustain them through their lives - I found his book in a shop, the cover created to represent that tattered look and right within the book jacket it said, when you open the book, you release the soul of the author..... so later tonight, I’ll sit in my library, in my favorite comfy chair, with a glass of my favorite beverage, and open that book, and tip the glass, towards Spain and then Heaven and say, “Thank you, old friend, because you and your world, meant everything to me, and always will, and I hope to share a glass and a story with you in the future!”

As a small business owner, I’m worried - have three shops and honestly I’m not sure what to do - do I open, go with curbside, sell online - wait it out, or since I’m on my last legs and seen so many others shops already close, fold it up, and follow them as well? I taught my students cost-benefit analysis and every single choice has the costs far outweighing the benefits - I truly at this moment, cannot see how I can win - so if you can, please pray for myself and every single business owner out there - this is our one shot, and we are not getting another chance.... thank you....so if you get a chance, message me for a gift certificate or visit my stores - new locations and hours and changes will be listed - and a prayer or two for this brave new world will be nice..... and check out updates on the new website..... thank you all!
