To all my friends and family who have been inquiring as to how they can help our little mountain communities with our storm relief efforts. We are so grateful for all donations so far and those on the way. The folks are getting out and coming by to pick up these supplies at Elk Park Christian Church located at 220 Old Mill Road Elk Park, NC 28622. Now we are projecting clean up and repairs before the cold season hits us. All monetary donation directed to our church will be used for cleaning supplies, garbage cans, totes, tarps, Extention cords, buckets to be placed at sink and toilets etc. Some of us are able to get out and go to bigger stores now that main roads are getting cleared. Side roads and hollers not so much. Leaf lookers May we request staying closer to home and sending some of your vacation money to the people here in the communities that you have come to love for their storm recovery? God bless each of you that have asked how to help and offered to come here with chainsaws. Our roads can’t handle it all right now. Flow of water is almost under control, now bridges and roads need work vehicles and workers getting to the sites most devastated. Thanks for your prayers and willingness to hear our cry.❤️Please mention this request when sending donation to Elk Park Christian Church.
