Modern fans, due to circumstances out of our control we will not have a judge for the Monthly Modern tournament. So instead of doing the big cash prize event at Competitive rules enforcement, we will run it as a more casual event at Regular.

$10 entry, 100% of the buy-ins will be awarded in store credit as prizes. 4-5 rounds depending on participation, no cut to top 8. Event will start at noon.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and we hope to return to competitive Magic in April!

It's Prerelease time!

Come out to Sacramento's most COMPLEAT prerelease event and experience the thrill of for Phyrexia All Will be One.

Tables & Tales is hosting 3 prerelease sessions this time around, so pick the time that best fits your schedule and come get your game on!

Thu night / Fri 2/3 at midnight
Friday 2/3 for Friday Night Magic at 6PM

Come play Modern with us on Saturday, February 4th @ 11am

Entry is $20.

Event is Modern Constructed
We are playing at Competitive REL, decklists are required. We will play 5 rounds of Swiss pairings with a cut to top-8.

Prizes based on participation
1st - Guaranteed free entry and 1st round bye at MXP Oakland and $60 store credit (increasing based on participation)
2nd - Guaranteed $40 store credit (increasing based on participation)
3rd - Guaranteed $20 store credit (increasing based on participation)
4th - Guaranteed $20 store credit
5th thru 8th - based on participation (increasing based on participation)
