We have made the decision to close Quilting on the Fox. The major reason is that our twenty some year old quilting machine has stopped working and needs repair with parts that are no longer available. The only alternative is a major rebuild, that does not make financial sense, given our ages and ROI.
The reasons that we opened the studio, were threefold. 1. Make a little extra money. (The operative word here is little.) 2. To keep ourselves busy and alive. (Daytime television is for others)3. To store Bobbi's "stash" and other objects. (My tools)
And so, we will be moving what we can, into Bobbi's tiny sewing room, selling what we can, finishing the quilts, we have in process, with Gwen's aid.
Everything else is for sale, sewing machines, sergers, fabric, finished quilts, wahlhangings, chairs, desks, shelving, etc

Bobbi taught a Lone Star class, Saturday and today to 7 students. All students got at least one wedge done, while one got a second. For fun, it was decided to put them up on the design wall. Here is what it looked like.
