Neligh Oakdale elementary school held a week long change war between the classes with the winning class earning an extra long recess. The student council voted to donate the proceeds to the Elgin Bargain Box because, according to one of the students, “ The Box donates to so many local causes”.  The students and their sponsors made a trip to the Elgin Bargain Box today to present a check for $913.75. To be chosen by these children is so heartwarming and we are grateful. Thank you to the Neligh Oakdale elementary for choosing the Bargain Box as your recipient this year.
