FIVE REASONS NOT TO WEAR FAST FASHION!!! 🤮🤢⬇️

If you wear brands like SHEIN, H&M, TOPSHOP, ZARA & more you could be putting hormone disrupting chemicals into your body!

1. CHEMICALS - This is NOT meant to scare you, but unfortunately cheap synthetic (plastic blends) leak into your body through the skin!! The main purpose of fast fashion is to pump out cheap clothing as quick as possible. Therefore, these brands use the cheapest material available.

2. WASTE OF RESOURCES - In order to make these products, companies fly through millions of barrels/liters of oil & water to create these cheap garments. Its costs around 2700 liters of water just to make a single cotton shirt!! Thats a lot of water!!!

3. POLLUTION - the fashion industry is responsible for 10% off the global carbon emissions. Now that may not seem like a lot, but that’s MORE than all international flights & naval shipping. We have clothing in the world to dress everyone 6 times over!!

4. FORCED LABOR - an estimated 27.6 million workers are stuck in sweatshops working for these companies getting paid Penneys on the dollar; from the gathering of resources to the making of each piece of clothing. In some cases these people/children are stuck to pay back third party labor brokers with the wages they are barely living on.

5. WASTE OF MONEY - and if the rest of these points aren’t enough for you, you are wasting your money! Most of these pieces are meant to be worn 1-3 times and then fall apart. So you continuously buy buy buy.
