This article is extremely left leaning. The illusion of feeling safe, believing nothing bad will happen to you in a world filled with evil is delusional. To believe disingenuous politicians have the solution for the hearts of evil mankind is unwise. If there were no guns, but the same violent crimes happened with say a baseball bat, a crowbar, hammer, a host of kitchen knives or forks. Then I would imagine the shortsighted solution is to ban all baseball bats because that would be reasonable right? The problem is hearts bent towards evil regardless of the tool or methods an individual chooses to use with violent intent. Slavery is a choice! Not popular for the masses to hear, but true. Think about it, the only way for corrupt legislators, corrupt politicians, elites, and tyrannical governments to gain control over their population. Is through propaganda, media deception campaigns with the intent of influencing the masses (News outlets, Internet, Radio, Television, etc.) to willingly vote their rights away all for the sake of feeling safe while making common sense decisions. Laughable yes, because feeling safe in Baghdad is what kept me safe over there (Heavy sarcasm here). Guess who's not giving up their fi****ms: The security detachments of politicians, athletes, celebrities, influencers, The FBI, ATF, IRS, CIA, State, Local, Tribal Law Enforcement agencies, and the Military. All the actors a tyrannical government needs to enslave their people. If I were a tyrannical entity, what population would it be easier to overtake an armed populace or an unarmed populace? So, if you do not believe slavery is a choice, continue voting based on your emotions. Facebook has been attacking the First Amendment for years.

Oklahoma is a Constitutional Carry/permit-less carry state for residents at least 21-years of age or 18-years of age in the military that can pass a NICS background check. However, without the Oklahoma Self-Defense Act (SDA) Handgun License, you do not have reciprocity outside the state of Oklahoma. 38 states have a reciprocity agreement with Oklahoma for SDA Handgun licensees. Oklahoma is a “Shall Issue” State, as well as a permit-less carry state. Permit-less carry is legal for anyone who is at least 21 years old that passes a NICS background check (to include at least 18 years old and is a member of the military assigned to an installation in Oklahoma with a valid military ID or honorably discharged veteran) that can legally possess a firearm to carry openly or concealed. HB 2597 Constitutional Carry Bill signed into law by Governor Kevin Stitt on February 27, 2019.
Reciprocity – WITHOUT THE OK SDA Handgun License, you cannot legally carry your firearm in the 38 states that have reciprocity with Oklahoma SDA Handgun License. The Oklahoma Self-Defense Act (SDA) handgun licenses are processed at the county level by the local Sheriff’s Office.
