TURNTABLE SERVICING FOR THE VINYL ENTHUSIAST

Record players / turntables and vinyl have returned. We were passionate about records and stereo equipment in the 70s and 80s and never did quite lose faith.

I have been servicing and rebuilding 70 & 80 turntables for some time now just can’t let the them go to the trash. Most older turntables just need a good cleaning and relubrication, new belt, and maybe a stylus.

Updating and modifying some turntables is gaining popularity bring an old 70’s table to more modern standards can be very cool and cost effective over a newer table. Check with me on what you have in mind, Thornes, AR, Rega, Garrard, Technics, & Linn are very popular.

Older receivers again mostly need a cleaning and often new lamps which I am happy to do, but some may need components replaced which is out of my skill set.

I have also rebuilt and refoamed speakers some are worth to time and expense many are not. Please inquire about what you have.

I mostly service in the Taos / northern New Mexico area but would be happy to work with someone on picking up or delivering equipment as far away as Santa Fe or north in southern Colorado.
