This morning we unlocked our doors and flipped our OPEN sign for the last time this year. It was harder than I can even explain… but I’m choosing to stay hopeful. This pause is bringing rest, renewal, and so much possibility for what’s ahead. I’m reminding myself and anyone who needs to hear it that it’s okay to pivot, to redirect, and to choose a new path when the old one no longer serves you. Thank you for loving us, supporting us, and walking with us through this journey.

To our regulars, our families, and every single person who has walked through our doors… this is honestly one of the hardest announcements I’ve ever had to make, but it’s also one I’m making with so much love, intention, and hope for what’s next.

After a LOT of back and forth and trying to figure out the best way to keep everything going while I head into maternity leave… we’ve decided to temporarily close the café for the duration of my leave starting Mon, December 1st.

We will still honor all existing reservations and we will still 100% be hosting both private and public events here and there including our Winter Vendor Market but we will be closed to the public for daily open play and shopping during this time.

This decision was not easy. This place is literally my second home and something my babies have grown up inside of. But the truth is… I am deeply exhausted. I’m at the end of my pregnancy with a toddler in tow and a lot on my shoulders, and I had to admit to myself that I need a real pause, time to rest and time to be present with my babies.

But this pause isn’t just to rest… it’s to grow.

Because of a generous investment and the addition of a new partner joining the business, we’re using this time to improve and elevate the space. Fresh floors, layout changes, updates, and all the little things we’ve dreamed of doing but never had the breathing room for. Littles & Lattes is finally getting the love and upgrades it deserves.

This isn’t a goodbye. This is just a little spring cleaning and a necessary pause so we can keep building the safe, cozy, community-centered space you’ve supported from day one.

Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for believing in us.
Thank you for giving me the space to rest and return stronger not just as a business owner, but as a mom and a human.
