‘Slowly is the fastest way to get somewhere’ -No one ever mentions how difficult it is to develop a product completely from scratch and a new concept. We, Nopal and I, and my surroundings have continued to grow, evolve, and push towards our goals. I spent a great deal of 2022 just plain working and learning about patience and defining more and more our values and standards- frankly, across all parts of my life. To get to a place to continue to help Nopal move forward in completing goals in the big ways we want it to without sacrificing standards. We’ve developed a standard of product and ingredients and we will not budge on them apart from raising the bar. We are approaching the next level of growth we’ve been working towards and we are so excited for you to see it. Site will be up next week with 35% off all retail of current inventory. Our ‘coffee confidential’ is in our stories!

For me, my hormone imbalance and need for body health with cognitive structure really showed itself through my skin and health after my active addiction. This was a symptom of my change, my body had to relearn how to think and function independently. My skin suffered greatly during this transformation.

Skin care I believe is spiritual. Your skin reflects often your state of mind and reflection of your environment. This was definitely a vulnerable time as it made me want to revert back to old stress patterns when confronted with something difficult.

As we start a new week. I’m thinking about the last week…Last week we were beginning to introduce the ‘future’ item. Our Luxe Face and Body Mist. The preventative for future obstacles. Future love of our future selves.

For that to be created, much less even spoken about… I realized I needed to pause. I thought of my past self and the current being I am in this moment. How there have been many days where I genuinely despised myself- not loved. Those days are still very much a part of my journey. I wanted to stop and acknowledge that before I continue. Without this 28 days of love I embarked on I would’ve not realized as soon that 28 days would only touch a piece of a tip of a an iceberg. When I realized the time had come to discuss some of the uglier parts of love I became paralyzed. I took time to enforce the good habits and reactions I learned to prevent bad ones from flooding my mind.

As we draw to a close of the first of many days of love with Nopal, I want to give empathy the parts of us we may not be fans of… yet. . . See you in the morning for some ‘coffee confessions’ of things that have come into even more light since last week. Thank you for being on this journey of wellness.

6 month old Lavender. Like so many of the ‘greats’ of anything Lavender can be a little complicated on the growing front. The question of what is to be ‘present’ - I’ll keep it simple. None of us really know do we? Honestly. Heightened awareness of whatever it is we may be doing in the present moment? That’s as close as I want to get to it- an individual definition of present to us a living organisms and embracing that it’s different that others interpretation. Because what I realized is… rigidly defining it automatically takes you to the future. Food for thought. Our oil, for us, helps us simultaneously recover and calmly react in the current moment of whatever it is I’m doing. When the body is calm so is the mind- then the mind can make better decisions and boomerang back to a calm yet powerful physical evolutions. .⠀⠀⠀⠀day 18

There are two products offered with in them. Last week we touched base briefly on our connection to our ‘past’ and my connection to recovery and acceptance of history ( which I’ll touch more on as we get to know more of the products. ) This week it’s our interpretation of the present- what does ‘present’ even mean? This week it’s about stying ready in whatever moment you’re in currently. Our and Face and Body helps keep up with ourselves but in tandem with the mind. Happy let’s have a great rest of our week. Shakespeare and Jane Austin were some of the best that wrote about love. Sense and Sensibility introduced us to one of Shakespeare most prolific sonnets on love. This also happens to be how we feel about skin care. Ha! Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day. We put the phone down and just had an entire self care day while being productive. Here it is:

We had our first sweet baby official Pop Up today where for the first time we got to sell and connect with our supporters simultaneously... So appreciative of this magic we got to see tonight.
