Tis the night before hay season and all through the farm, both farmers were cursing and giving alarm... As of course nothing goes right.

It's been a long time since Mel did hay, and this is not like riding a bike... But DW is on the case and we'll start hopefully this weekend!

The whole ewe flock got rounded up for their weekly close up check. While we make sure we have eyes on them daily, once a week the whole flock gets herded into the barn so Mel can get close eyes on everyone and get an accurate head count. As of tonight everyone including some brand new little additions are all accounted for.

Well, the big pony is off the trailer! Welcome Skylar! This big handsome boy is fresh from Tri-Circle-D ranch in Florida! He's a Clydesdale gelding that came from working at Disney world and will soon accompany us to historical events in Washington county.
