Edmonds Bookshop’s June Kids’ Book Group will meet on Sunday, June 28th at 3 pm. Children aged 8-12 are welcome to participate in a monthly ‘book club’ just for them! There will be fun activities to help participants engage in the joy of sharing books. This month, instead of one book there is a theme: Animals as main characters. Young readers may choose any book that has an animal as the main character, then join the group on June 28th for some fun activities!

🌈Celebrate Pride at Edmonds Bookshop’s June Story Time with local children’s author and artist, Michelle Jing Chan. She will read “My Little Golden Book About Pride,” written by Kyle Lukoff, which she illustrated 🥰 and “Weiwei's Winter Solstice,” a beautiful picture book she both wrote and illustrated. After the story, children can participate in making a free rainbow craft. 🌈

We are excited to announce that the Ballinger Shakespeare Company will be here at Edmonds Bookshop on Thursday, June 18th at the start of Art Walk! Members of the cast will be performing a scene from their upcoming play, Twelfth Night. Megan Joplin, Managing Director of Ballinger Shakespeare company and Joe Wack, the company's Artistic Director will also be on hand to answer questions and promote the performance, which will be held July 9-19 at Mathay Ballinger Park. Performances are free, as is Art Walk!
