Dang dude. These Yamahas are FU***NG SLICK. Born in the 80s, but looking fresh off the line. These two are clean and have clearly been very well maintained, truly a perfect pair. Yamaha has always been a company we admired.

Let’s make motorcycles! Ok! How about we make high end drums and grand pianos? Sure, after we get done with the saxophones and flugelhorns. Well, we can’t get those done until the boats and 4-wheelers are finished…

This little baby Marshall might be the cutest little thing we’ve seen, but don’t let it hear you say that. This rig means business. It’s size, and 20 watts (or 5w) of power is extremely deceptive. I guarantee this here is a right rippah! It’s a super dang clean Purple Plexi head and matching vertical 2x12 and it’s ready to deliver the legendary British tone. BUT! It can also fit in the backseat of your sedan. That’s a win-win in our book.

The Wolf is a collab between Tallon Electric and local heavy ripper Blake Martin (A Plea for Purging). Half amp-smashing dirt box, half band-pass filtered boost, this little 2in1 is clutch piece of kit for dialing in some raunchy overdrive and then hitting that boost to cut through the mix and share your riff magic. New release from EarthQuaker Devices, the Zoar, was inspired by the sound of a “FuzzFace with the guitar volume rolled back a little, running into a Fender amp.” Which RULES. Add in the “Weight” k**b for controlled low-end, and further tone tailoring via the passive EQ and you’ve got a new “fuzzsortion” that is super versatile and will move some air. Big EQD fans here at Eastside, we will always stock and support their new releases. Great people, great company.

Just arrived a one of a kind 1955 Gretsch PX 6127 Duo-Jet Plectrum Model Solid Body Electric Guitar in its original tweed hard shell case! A Calton road case is included. Link in our profile.

There’s rare, and then there’s RARE, and then there’s one-of-a-kind. This Gretsch Duo-Jet custom built as a 4-string Plectrum guitar is quite likely the only one of its kind ever made; if an exact duplicate instrument has ever appeared, it is not known in the Gretsch community.

The Duo-Jet was a relatively new model in 1955, and for the first couple of years was also offered as a short-neck 4-string tenor guitar as a price list line item. These are very rare — the electric tenor never really caught on — but a small number are known to exist. It is probable a player in the plectrum style saw this model and ordered one in their preferred long-neck tuning. This guitar is part of a 50-unit Duo-Jet batch made in early 1955; it is also unusual in having an all-black finish, where most Duo-Jets have a black top and a natural mahogany back and sides.
