The Olde' General Store was built in the pre civil war era in 1836. This two story brick building was the hub where locals gathered around the old pot belly stove and shared the local gossip and the events of the day. Sankey (1840-1908) who was an American Gospel singer and composer of hyms such as "Faith is the Victory", "Trusting Jesus", "The Ninety and Nine" and "Under His Wings". He was a Chr

istian evangelist, author and his father served as state senetor in Pa.. Moody in evangelistic work in the U.S. and abroad as solo singer/music director. The Kukuski Indian village lined the Mahoning River which winds through the farmland. The pot belly stove is no more, but we still have the same relaxed atmosphere from long ago. Hunting stories still go on and on! Our goal is to keep this tradition alive with a family atmosphere where lifetime friends are made and memories continue to be made. We appreciate all our customers for your support over all these years ! Praise His Name!

Earl's first major breakthrough was in bow design was introducing both the dynamic balance limbs and limbs of equal length in 1947, From there he developed the semi-pistol grip on bow handles and the 1956 the full pistol grip and in the late fifties he invented the Stabilizer. Pictured here with his wife Ann Weber Hoyt holding bows with Hoyt's Stablizer. Both Earl & Ann are members of the Archery Hall of Fame.
