2016 set up at Awesome Con in DC. Show use to be much more collector comic centered but drifted into being an event instead of a comic show. They are now trying to get a little more comic action going on the show floor and we may actually set up again after a very long absence.

When Harry Lucey wasn’t drawing the characters from Archie Comics he was drawing the adventures of Sam Hill of Private Detective stories. The #5 cover pictured has that Archie feel to it but still was great work by Harry.

Picked up this set of original TMNT pins that were offered in the early issues of the comic. Have seen the ads inside Turtle issues but have never owned a set before. Hoping to make a copy of ad and put all of these in a nice new Mylar and have them for sale at Heroes Con in less than 2 weeks.

Tough I Love Lucy 3D 1953 Picturebook we have posted in our eBay store. Use to be listed in Overstreet Guide years ago but they removed it at some point. A Christmas 3D that shares identical layout was allowed to remain in the Guide. I give a copy of this with glasses still inside built in holder every now and then.

Found this Turtles giveaway in a box today while pricing for upcoming Heroes Con. Online info was that the 8 1/2 by 11 version was an unauthorized version but then goes on to state that the original printer may have made these as well. So doesn’t that mean it was authorized ??
