Awhile back, one of our customers special ordered a twin-size pack of Hobbs Tuscany 100% Wool Batting… and it finally arrived! The problem is, somehow we don’t have a phone number for the customer who requested it, and we haven’t been able to get ahold of her. 😅

Also… instead of sending the ONE pack we ordered, the company accidentally sent us EIGHT packs instead! 😂

Before we send the extras back, we wanted to check with our customers first and see if anyone else would like one! These are:

🧵 Twin Size (72” x 96”)
🧵 Warm, breathable, and wonderful for quilts

Since we unexpectedly ended up with extras, we’re offering the additional packs at 10% off the full retail price (normally priced at $48, on sale now for $43 if you purchase one before June 5! 😊

If you were the original customer who requested this, please message us or stop in! And if anyone else would like one of the extras, let us know right away before we send the extras back.

Today, we pause to remember that Memorial Day is not simply about a long weekend, cookouts, or sales. It is about lives willingly laid down for others. Sons and daughters. Husbands and wives. Friends, neighbors, and ordinary people who answered an extraordinary call.

Freedom has always come at a cost — one that countless families across our nation still carry every single day.

As we gather with those we love, may we also take a quiet moment to honor the men and women who never made it home, and the families who continue to live with that sacrifice long after the ceremonies are over.

We remember them with gratitude.
We honor them with humility.
And we pray we never take their sacrifice for granted.

Things I love about owning a quilt shop:

🧵 Spending every day with the absolute BEST people in the BEST community I could imagine

🧵 Getting to pet fabric whenever I want 😂

🧵 My job is literally to buy pretty things!!!

🧵 The more fabric we sell, the more fabric I get to BUY… which means I can bring in even MORE pretty fabric 😆

Mom and I made our second trip to Lickity Stitch today and somehow came home with almost TWICE as much fabric as we bought on our first trip… 140 new bolts! 🤯 I am SO excited about all the gorgeous new colors and prints coming into the shop right now. Fabric shopping may genuinely be one of my favorite parts of this job 😂

And then we came back to the shop to the happy buzz of a busy Open Sew day — sewing machines humming, projects spread across the tables, customers visiting, and fabric flying off the shelves.

One of the sweetest parts of the day was that Earleene stopped by to visit for awhile. It made me so happy getting to see her enjoying the shop, visiting with everyone, and being part of the day. 💛

Today was one of those days that made me stop and think, “I seriously have the best job in the world.” ❤️

Ok friends… I need opinions 😂

I just placed my very first Moda order for the shop and ordered a few prints from this beautiful upcoming collection, Flora + Thread by Fancy That Design House 😍

BUT… I still have a little time to add more before my order is finalized. Which colors would YOU want to see me bring into the shop? 👀

Also… it just dawned on me that the designer’s name is Stephanie too 😂 How trippy is that?
