This all started because my wife loved going to thrift stores, and I got tired of waiting in the car. Then we started going to storage unit and estate auctions and picking up some great bargains. At first, we sold whatever she would part with through flea markets or on Craigslist, but eventually she decided that while she loved visiting thrift stores, she didn't want to live in one, and we opened
Bargain Basement under Woody's Market in Ridgeway. Then my mom, who is a LOT more organized that I am, joined us and we became the place to go for everything from clothes to couches. We price our stuff to move, 'cause new truckloads come in every week. We can talk about delivery for a little extra -- if the truck is empty, which is not often since it's only our family and I tend to buy faster than we can unload.
