Don’t be fooled by bike industry hype, its not rocket science to make a quality carbon fiber frame, its just a hands-on process dominated by factories in Asia that have owned this aspect of the bike industry for years. We’re bike junkies like you, and we sell bikes the way we want to purchase them.... which does not entail dealing with some snotty hipster at the bike shop. Instead, we work with you personally over the the phone and Internet to design your dream bike... choosing the wheelset, parts group, cockpit, and all other aspects of a bike that best fits your budget and riding style. Our no frills approach means 0% of your bike price goes toward executive salaries, fancy advertising, pro sponsorships, bike distributors, or bike shops. We love helping you attain the best bike for your money with smart moves that save weight without breaking the bank. For example, on an XT mountain bike build do an XTR crank and cassette where the real weight savings are, and on your road bike some aluminum parts are actually lighter than carbon. If you want to go big we can build you a 16.5 lb carbon 29er or a 13.5 lb road bike! LaMere Cycles builds the USA‘s lightest XC eMTB bikes by using the external Shimano battery which simply rests on the downtube. Don’t fall for this season’s E-bike industry plot to sneak you a half sized motor and battery to make a light bike… we use the biggest and best Class 3 Shimano EP801 motor and 630Wh Shimano battery to build a 42 pound e-race machine anyway you like.

We build Class 3 racing e-bikes so plz make sure to tune your LaMere back to Class 1 for most USA trails!
