A customer had these three little boxes that a relative made years ago. She wanted them freshened up to go in her new home. She wanted a blue coastal weathered look.
I began with a gray primer coat, Then painted a coat of North Sea Blue. Sanded, primed again, painted another coat of NS Blue and sanded, touched up with a little blue and finished with a satin coat of Poly.

I think she’ll be pleased with the final product. It goes well with her color scheme.

We needed a table for our morning coffee and our time together listening to Jerimiah on the lanai, so I made one this morning. We saw something similar for $250-$300. Yes I’ve gone costal! I found the North Sea stain by Behr at Home Depot. Added the boat tie down hardware I found at hobby Lobby.

I also had the privilege of helping Britteny with a project for one of her clients. They love modern decor and architecture. The wall was a fun project. We began with framing the wall then working from the middle out. There were no plans to work off of. Cutting and placing as we went. Brit chose all the decor, colors and furniture for the project. Briley, her daughter did the wall in the dining room. The client was very pleased.
It was such a blessing to work with her.

My first project in Palm city Florida.
I was contacted by a lady in Hobe sound after I posted on the Nextdoor App. that I just moved here and enjoyed wood working, refinishing furniture and tackling unique projects.
I accepted the challenge of refinishing this 4 pc rattan furniture. She asked me what color should we paint it. Being the interior decorator that I am😂 I recommended black. (After seeking advice from Brittany and Karen. I chose Tricorn black from Sherwin Williams.
So I began cleaning, brushing, deglazing, sanding and prepping the woven rattan material for priming and painting.
The client was very pleased with the final results. The chair shows what the original condition was. Couch was worse.

We uncovered this Ethan Allen drop leaf table in our storage room. We have no idea where it came from. But with a little sanding, prepping then applying a few coats of Satin Canyon Black it is back to a beautiful piece of furniture.
A great touch to the 100 year old farmhouse project.

Finishing up the last of the 5 rooms in the old farmhouse. Ceiling had a rough popcorn finish. Did not want to remove the lathe and plaster so I found this alternate less expensive way to cover the ceiling using Faux ceiling panels from Homebdepot, light weight poly foam glued up with Loctite power grab.
Looks pretty good.

I’ve been working on renovating some rooms in a 100 year old farm house. I’ve finished the living room, dining room, new flooring and my favorite part the stairs. Added shiplap to the wall, recycled the the treads, added the new railing, balusters and a custom newel post.
Used a Spanish Oak gel for the color and finished off with a satin finish.

One of our custom coffee tables in our favorite coffee house. The aged barrel stain blends well with the grays throughout the shop. Owner is very excited with her new table where customers can relax with their favorite cup of jo.

Finished up this beautiful Hickory charcuterie board with black and white pearl epoxy. It’s headed to the Madison Road Artisan Market this weekend.

I accepted the challenge to refinish this oak door. Weathered By sun and elements. It was challenging to get all the old varnish out of the nooks and crannies my patience paid off. Beautiful satin finish.
