Book restock!!! We’ve gotten a whole new shipment of books in, ready for beach reading!!! We’ve got a shelf full of Kristen Hannah reads, including The Women (last years number one library checked book) as well as My Friends by Frerick Blackman, one of Goodreads 2025 Readers favorite book of the year! Take a peek at the shelves and if you see something you want to read give us a ring and we can hold it for you! Our books move fast!

Good morning! Home Again will be opening late today, plan on a 12:00 pm open! Amanda has a closing in Milledgeville for a Real Estate but will be back at the store as soon as the closing is done! Happy Friday all!

What a fun evening watching such a sweet, make you cry an ugly cry movie! Thank you sincerely to everyone who came out and supported the viewing party of Remarkably Bright Creatures at The Plaza Arts Center! We had 270 free tickets secured and almost a full house on the first level of the theater! It was amazing to see so many people come out with their girlfriends, book clubs or husbands and watch this movie. The energy we have in this town is truly so special. Don’t let political candidates or people who haven’t visited our town in years say anything contrary to what I’m saying here. We have the most supportive residents who want to see our town thrive. Thank you to EVERYONE who came out tonight. We hope you enjoyed the evening. And thank to the amazing Susan May Usry for opening the doors of the Plaza Arts Center for our residents! We are blessed to have such a great venue in Eatonton! I forgot to take pictures as usual. But I did capture a moment when it was over where everyone was gathering on the lawn, enjoying Crooked D Creamery’s ice cream hanging with friends while they wound down the evening.

Please continue shop our local shops, walk our local sidewalks, enjoy our local gathering areas, and benefit from our local events. Eatonton needs us, the more we do together, the town continues to thrive!
