We are introducing our very first Book Discussion Group this fall! đź“–

Join us this October through November at A Boatload of Books in Eastport to read and discuss the novel Detransition, Baby by Torrey Peters. This discussion group is for LGBTQ+ adults and allies, and those who want to have a respectful discussion about trans identity, womanhood, pregnancy, and reproductive rights.

The book will be provided at no cost, and snacks will be provided at the group. Registration is open, and there are limited spots available, so be sure to register before October 1st.

We will mail you a book to give you a chance to read part one of the book to be ready for our first discussion on Monday, October 26th from 5pm-6:30pm. We will meet weekly on 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, and 11/16.

Scan the QR code to register or head to our website or the link in our bio.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts!

The Bookaneers have a special treat! Minquansis Sapiel will be reading her book Gluskabe to the kiddos!
Gluskabe is a cultural hero and this is a story from the Wabanaki Tribes of the Northeast of how the maple tree came to gift everyone with Maple Syrup. This tale teaches lessons of responsibility and balance. Please join us on Sunday Aug. 16th, at 2pm!
