Hi, all! I'm back! I've finished my little jaunt through legal academia, and I'm about ready to kick this page back into gear. Now, the brick and mortar store is not back, but the virtual store and activity will ramp back up soon. And a name change is coming too... standby! (Oh boy, it's good to see you!)

Good morning, ! Long time, no see! I'm sorry I've been busy. School is going well, but it's taking up a lot of my time.
I am delighted, though, to offer to you loyal readers a limited number of copies of this beautiful hardback by poet Amanda Gorman who burst into our collective consciousness when she read her poem "The Hill We Climb" at President Biden's inauguration. $20 each, local delivery available... after finals are over on 12/17.

My dearest DelRivReaders. It is time. This evening, I locked the door at 52 S 2nd St for the last time. I cannot begin to say what the last five and three-quarter years have meant to me and my family. The people we've met. The conversations we've had. The laughs we've shared. I thank you all for being a part of the adventure.

I hope to maintain some sort of presence in the community. I hope to see you around. I hope that my next steps afford me the same kinds of opportunities for connection and service that this little bookstore did. In the meantime, you can continue to reach me here or by phone. I will still order books. I will still sell books at my Bookshop site. I will still post recommendations and pieces of news on this page. DelRivBooks has closed its physical door, but we're still open in spirit. So, until we meet again, please take care of yourselves and each other.

I'm clearing out the store and put some good Heritage Day-themed books on the FREE SHELF. I'll be here much of the evening if you want to stop by and pick over what's left on the shelves. Also Mon-Wed 9:30-3:30, but by that late, there won't be much left.
