We are looking for a forever home for this one of a kind, hand-made, life-size Chozo statue from the Metroid series. Created by one of the owners.
This took roughly 3 months to make. I set out to create a small Metroid statue in time for the Metroid Dread release. This was also an anniversary gift to my husband, who proposed to me years ago with his all-time favorite game, Super Metroid. So yes, we are big fans of the series! Little statue somehow became a life-size statue.
The materials used to create its bone structure are cardboard, newspaper, foam, bubble wrap, and other recyclable materials. Its outer shell was made with a paper mache clay mixture. I used silver and black paint and a satin/glossy sealer for its sheen. Though this description may suggest it flimsy, I assure you this is a very sturdy and heavy structure. I poured a lot of hours and energy into this Chozo. It is modeled after several versions of Chozo in the series.
We are looking for someone who appreciates the video game franchise and art. As of right now, the asking price is $5000, but we are willing to negotiate. This is for serious collectors and for local pick-up only.
