tOd and the Bad Ideas

tOd and the Bad Ideas are a dynamic rock quartet based in Columbus, Ohio, established in 2017 by singer/songwriter Todd (tOd) Greer, an experienced recording and touring musician with numerous regional acts, and time spent performing overseas.

tOd describes the band’s sound as “bombastecoustic” (bom-bast-ee-koo-stik) rock n’ roll … amplified acoustic string instruments supported with horns and percussion … a high-energy, vintage rock n’ roll approach, reminiscent of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bruce Springsteen, and John Mellencamp.


Live performances include original compositions, interlaced with vintage, crowd-pleasing covers. Noted for exceptional promotion and high-energy shows, the band has established a solid reputation on the Ohio music scene, performing throughout central and northeast Ohio.
