The Yard Sale Shop

In our world we see low priced, gently used items as a useful tool to help those in our community, not only get things they may need at an affordable price, but also to raise funds to help us do random good things for those in our local community. This idea was born of a mother-daughter duo, who relished in yard sales and thrift store shopping together, donating gently used items to those in need

if we had the means to do so, and seeing people for who they truly are, treating every person with respect and dignity, no matter their circumstances. We opened our first store in 2012, after her passing, and the store took off immediately and had great success in a very short amount of time. Due to outgrowing our small building and unforeseen health issues in our family, we were unable to keep the store open at that time. I have since vowed to re-open the shop one day, in honor of my mother and the selfless person she was and taught me to be. We have continued to accept gently used items of all kinds, from friends, families, and strangers over the years, in hopes of finding a new store for all your shopping needs. We were so close to being able to do just that, then covid hit and caused a few setbacks for us. As my garages have filled up throughout this time, we have decided to start selling our items on-line on our page, until we are able to find the perfect storefront to call home and set up shop. Help us to help our community thrive and celebrate all the great things that people can do for others. It’s the little things that can make all the difference in someone’s life.
