This is what makes the hunt for treasures so much fun....
Oh my gosh, I am more excited about this than someone my age should probably be. Let me explain. When I was a young child I had a doll that I loved and slept with. She was a talking doll and each pull of the string she said a phrase. "I want a drink of water", "Mommy please cover me up" and "I want to stay up" were some of them. However, I wouldn't go to sleep until she said "I go sleep now night night". I've never known what the doll was called or who made it until today, Drowsy by Mattel. I was watching a youtube video and spotted it at a yard sale and instinctively knew she was it and I gasped! The person at the yard sale showed the tag and talked about it. I hit up google and found another youtube video about this doll. OH MY GOSH, it's her...and she said it!!! What a blast from the past. I wish my sister, Ginger, could hear it. She used to always remind me about how I wouldn't go to bed till it said it. And because we always shared a room, she had to hear it too. LOL Hearing this again flooded my heart.
I attached the video to share if you wish. Drowsy says it at about 1:00 minute. Did anyone else have this doll?

A sunny spring day feeds my soul. It's like the sun is recharging my battery. I'm also much more productive on a sunny day.
I just keep reminding myself that the rainy days are needed too. In New England it's often referred to as mud season. Just need to get through the rain to sprout all the pretty things 🌼
