This game-used Spalding "Ball + Diamond" bat belonged to Pete Brausen, a Madison, Wisconsin native who enjoyed a 16-year minor league career and was known as one of the game’s great characters. Graded PSA GU 9 and accompanied by a full letter of authenticity, the bat dates from 1925–1934, measures 33.5 inches / 38.8 oz, shows excellent use, and has a professionally repaired handle crack.
In 1912, Brausen was called “the smallest baseball player in the world” at just 5'3", but he hit .500 with Gisholt Machinery and played “like a battle-scarred veteran.” He later became a fixture with the Madison Senators and helped keep the Home Talent League alive for years in Waunakee. He was also famous for pulling off the hidden ball trick over 20 times in a single season.
To our knowledge, this is the only Brausen bat authenticated by PSA — a likely 1-of-1 tied to a truly unique figure in Wisconsin baseball lore.

This 1965 Ole Miss yearbook includes a signed photo of Rebel graduate Don Kessinger—one of the most dynamic multi-sport athletes to ever come through Oxford.
At Ole Miss, Kessinger was a star in both baseball and basketball, earning All-SEC honors in each. But it was on the baseball diamond where he truly shined—going on to anchor the Chicago Cubs’ infield for over a decade.
As the Cubs’ shortstop from 1964 to 1975, Kessinger was a 6-time All-Star, 2-time Gold Glove winner, and a key figure during the team’s late ‘60s resurgence. Known for his range, quick hands, and leadership, he helped define an era at Wrigley Field.

This New York Mets equipment bag isn’t just gear — it’s a piece of baseball history. Painted on both ends is #36, used by Jerry Koosman himself, a cornerstone of the Mets’ rotation from 1967 to 1978 and the man who closed out Game 5 of the 1969 World Series.
Koosman was a clutch lefty who stood tall alongside Tom Seaver during one of the most iconic eras in Mets lore. With 140 wins for the club and a reputation for dominating in big moments. Koosman earned his spot among the franchise’s elite — and in 2021, the Mets made it official by retiring his number

These aren’t just cleats—they’re a story etched in dirt, sweat, and October glory.
Worn by Jim “Catfish” Hunter during the 1974 World Series, these cleats were on the field as the A’s clinched their third straight championship—a rare and iconic feat in baseball history. The Oakland A’s of the early ’70s weren’t just a team—they were a dynasty. And at the heart of that run was Catfish Hunter.
Across the three title runs, Catfish was the ace every championship club needs.
🔹 In 1972, he won a crucial Game 2 and returned in Game 6 to help force a deciding Game 7—securing the A’s first title since 1930.
🔹 In 1973, he started three games and earned the win in Game 6, setting up a dramatic Game 7 victory.
🔹 In 1974, he was at the top of his game—posting a 25–12 record with a 2.49 ERA and earning the AL Cy Young Award. He started Game 3 of the World Series and delivered when the A’s needed him most.
Catfish Hunter finished his career as a 5× World Series champion, 8× All-Star, a Cy Young winner, and a perfect game pitcher. He became the first pitcher since Walter Johnson to notch 200 wins before turning 31—a symbol of both excellence and endurance. When the lights were brightest, Catfish always delivered.
These cleats are more than game-worn gear—they’re a chapter of baseball history, given from catfish himself to the manager of the A’s son, Russell Black, during the 1974 celebration.

⚾️ The Original Torpedo Bat?⚾️
Baseball has seen its fair share of innovation, but few pieces of equipment are as unique—or as iconic—as Heinie Groh’s bottle bat.
Back in the early 1900s, Groh stood only 5’6” and had small hands, being misidentified as a ballboy many times in his career. So he teamed up with Spalding to design something totally different: a bat with a massive barrel and a thin, tapered handle that looked more like a milk bottle than a baseball bat.
Specs?
👉  Dated - 1912-1925
👉 33.75 inches long
👉 43.8 ounces
👉 A thick barrel (about 2.75”) that gave him a powerful hitting surface
This design wasn’t just for looks—it helped Groh become one of the top hitters of his era, finishing the 1919 season with a .310 average for the Cincinnati Reds.
Today, Groh’s bottle bat is a beloved artifact of the game’s dead-ball era, and replicas are still made for collectors who love a little baseball history in their hands.

George Foster Game Used LVS Bat

George Foster was a feared power hitter who was a key ingredient in Sparky Anderson’s Big Red Machine of the 1970s. “Yatzee” was a 5 time All-Star who won 2 World Series rings, the 1977 MVP award, and the 1981 Silver Slugger award. His incredible knack to drive in runs (1,239 career RBI) made him a go-to option when it mattered most. This game used Louisville Slugger model F149 dates from 1983-1985 and is authenticated by Mears.
